Patti Armbrister

Patti is a fourth generation farmer, growing up on a diverse crop Michigan farm founded in 1866. She has over 50 years of experience in agriculture, beef production, vegetable gardening, and forage production. Patti has traveled to agriculture operations in 45 of the lower 48 states and all of the lower provinces of Canada. In 2007, she joined the Hinsdale Public School as Agriculture Educator and FFA advisor. Patti is driven by a passion to provide a healthier, more resilient future for her son and future generations.

She has been a progressive leader and educator in Montana’s Farm to School & local food movements. Patti is a leader in the regenerative agriculture movement, having studied intensively with Dr. Elaine Ingham, Nicole Masters, Gabe Brown and Dr. Jonathan Lundgren, among others. She has completed certification programs offered through Integrity Soils and the Soil Food Web Consultant Training Program. Her belief is “Healthy Soils will create Healthier Life.” Patti is currently working in two greenhouses that are regenerative in nature, energy efficient and growing fruits and vegetables that are high in nutrient density. She has made high quality compost teaming with life for several years and is helping others to learn how to utilize their own and local waste to create diverse compost full of soil microbes. Microbes that will help to heal soils and produce plants that are packed full of nutrients, food that can be used as medicine.

In 2017, Patti started her soil health consulting business Agrarian Food Web LLC with the intention of helping others learn the practices to grow nutrient dense products without the use of agrochemicals and using regenerative, healthy soil-buiding techniques. Patti believes our soils hold the secret necessary to a healthy future for all and is willing to share with others to create a healthy world.
